Cape May, NJ  2024

We opened up and connected the spaces by inserting the see-through fireplace and by accentuating the double height stairway atrium, where our algae Chlorophyta Chandelier glows in the daylight of the stairway window The black color of the author's study warms the space and adds a sense of restraint, while the reflective glass desk amplifies the daylight entering through the sliding doors. The home for a growing family with young toddlers incorporates all non-toxic, natural materials, including our biological Chlorophyta Chandelier, complement this secluded land reserve on which the house sits. The linear bench in front of the transparent fireplace in the living room leads the eye to the view of the open landscape through the adjacent sliding doors.
