Lightweight Indoor/outdoor dining table for six people, also available in cocktail size. The intent of the dining table, only 0.1” thick, is to resemble origami, which suits the manufacturing process of bent aluminum. NEA Studio worked closely with Ferra Designs metal fabricators, also located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, to optimize the table’s design for efficient production processes. The hexagonal table integrates insets for three removable serving platters. All angles of the table are bent or cut systematically at 120 degrees. Assembled in parts, the table can be easily shipped.
